Before the global launch of the IONIQ 9, we created a series of teaser assets to build anticipation on social. I worked on two of them, each with a different concept and production setup.

The first was a 3D animation developed with CGI studio Aixsponza. We created visual sequences inspired by the names of the car’s color palette. Each animation filled the interior with its own surreal texture and movement. I shaped the narrative and wrote the copy to build curiosity without giving anything away.

The second asset was produced with CGI studio theRO. It showed the IONIQ 9 cruising through the streets of LA the night before the reveal, completely wrapped in white sheets. Covered but unmistakable. It ends as the car approaches the Goldstein House — the venue of the global launch.

Both assets were released in the days leading up to the reveal. Subtle. Strange. Designed to tease just enough.
